The Process

Supporters had asked for a non-sporty community product for them to support the charity. (Abseiling is great for LAAC fundraising, but it’s not for everyone...) And LAAC were keen to please – with a tea party product.

We’d recently worked with the charity co-project managing and updating their online and offline raffle, lottery, and newsletter. Now, under a new team, we were thrilled to be a part of this new product development.

It was to launch in LAAC’s 30th anniversary, and needed to resonate with a wide variety of audiences right across the individual, corporate, and volunteer supporter base and the social media spectrum.

The Result

All the materials we provided were easy to download and print, while taking on an attractive vintage-style personality, and there was an accompanying option for participants to request a pack.

The team had been thorough, mapping out exactly what deliverables they wanted and giving examples of what they observed was strong or less so in other charity tea parties. Beyond that, they were open to our creative suggestions, and we provided five concepts for the team to interrogate.

Happily, they chose our favourite, and we worked together to give them mock-up bunting and cake toppers so they could photograph tea parties in action, ready for the launch.

What we’re most proud of

The whole process couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and all the teams and the Director loved the materials.

The tea party is still alive and kicking with our creative elements still going strong.

Most of all, it was great to be able to help this fantastic, life-saving charity meet their supporters’ request and to work with such a professional team.
